Fight Against Central Florida Homelessness Continues


​Dr. Francelis Gonzalez or as some call her ‘Dr. G’, has joined in Central Florida’s fight against homelessness. The medical leader had a vision of combining her gift of healing and love for fashion as a way to positively impact the Central Florida communities she serves.

Dr. G, owner at Kids Ville Pediatrics, began to brainstorm and recruit other leaders to create the fundraiser. The W event purpose is to help community initiatives move forward and thrive.

This year The W event was dedicated to Feed and Fortify Community Organization. FFCO has been impacting homelessness since 2011 by creating programs that offer real solutions for the underserved.

Orlando Jaguar dealership served as a fashion hub for Windermere and Winter Park exclusive boutiques. The runway graced by couture fashion creations by Carmen Steffens, Forema Boutique, Tuni Winter Park and representing Windermere; lulu lemon authentica-Millenia, Red Carpet Couture and Cloak & Dapper

The event included a cocktail and network hour and a guest enjoyed sweet and savory hor’sveurs from Mira’s Deli & Catering as well as a Strut for a Cause Show.

Other influential supporters included Melanie Pace Stylist and Fashion expert, Seacoast Bank, Better Homes, New York Life and

Feed and Fortify will invest funds granted through life changing programs that will impact over 200 homeless families and 100 children enduring life transitions and homelessness in Central Florida.
