Wholesome Drinks : Blueberries, Watermelon, & Aloe

Here’s Super Food Drink, to Cleanse, Refresh, Detoxify

Since blueberries are in season, and can almost always be found frozen, I added them to this flavorful, refreshing, cleansing, drink. Among other benefits, blueberries are full of free radical fighting, antioxidants like resveratrol. Don’t have blueberries, no worries, the first time I made this drink, I used raspberries and strawberries instead. Be mindful of aloe, since its a natural gut stimulant, I drank about 8 ounces a day, mostly in the earlier time of the day. Be sure to make enough to keep yourself and loved ones feeling cleansed, refreshed, and flowing.


4 cups of brewed peppermint tea

1 cup of blueberries

2 cup watermelon

2 tablespoons chia seeds

2 limes or lemons

1 red cored apple

¼ cup Aloe pulp

Prepare and mix all ingredients in the blender, pour, cover, and keep refrigerated. To ensure freshness drink within 3 to 5 days.

Peppermint Tea- Boost immune system, improves digestion, aids with weight loss, can help relieve anxiety.

Blueberries- packed with antioxidants, like resveratrol compound, much needed for cellular renewal and optimal health. People with underlying conditions related with estrogen, or using blood thinners should be mindful of reactions to resveratrol.

Watermelon- hydration, heart health, relief muscle soreness, can help reduce inflammation.

Chia seeds- omega 3 fatty acids, may help raise good cholesterol (HDL), antioxidants, iron, calcium.

Lemons- hydration, vitamin C, may help prevent kidney stones, balances ph.

Limes- lowers blood sugar levels, may reduce heart disease, inflammation, and fight infections.

Apples-Natural sugar source, fiber, and pectin optimal for gut and gallbladder health. It helps clean the system with mild laxative action. Stimulates liver, digestion process, and supports the immune system with vitamins and minerals.

Aloe Vera- Can help heals wounds, sooths irritated skin, improves digestive system, clears acne, promotes intestinal detoxification.
